Inked: Exhibit to expose creativity of tattoos

Dana Melissa Dixon, 28, of Nacogdoches, doesn't look at her tattoos in terms of how many she has.
"I just say I have 10 years worth," she said.
Casey said she has about 60 tattoos, give or take a few...

The tattoo Dixon sport that's sure to garner attention is the stitching on her legs.
"I practiced using the machines on my legs," she said, explaining the reason behind the unique tattoos on her legs. "And I practiced to get over my fear of inflicting pain on people before I started on the clients. It was a good learning experience."

"People think they are what they do. Because of this, all they care about is how they are perceived; everything is about them. We are people who do tattoos; that's it. We are not great. I think it's funny that some of these guys forget the fact that to 99% of the people, we're just tattooed carnie trash. No one knows who we are. No one cares."
